ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION DEADLINE AND GUIDELINES


Abstracts should be submitted not later than the 30th of September, 2021.

Abstract guidelines for submission

A Call for Abstracts has been launched for the 1st international Conference on Rare Diseases & Peadiatric Research to select abstracts for oral and poster presentations related on any topic relating to Rare and Paediatric Diseases. Both Science/Research and patients/patient experts contributions are warmly invited to submit. The text of the call is detailed below.

Important Dates for Abstract Submission

Deadline for Abstract Submission: September 30th, 2021

Notification of Abstract Acceptance: October 15th, 2021

The presenting author must register to the Conference by October 21th 2021, in order to be included in the program and to have the abstract published in the online “Book of Abstracts” of the 1st international Rare & Paediatric Diseases Conference website.

We encourage researchers, companies, agencies, patient groups, health care professionals and all other interested parties to submit an abstract to 1st international Conference on Rare Diseases & Paediatric Research.

Abstract submission

To submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation to 1st international Conference on Rare Diseases & Peadiatric Research, please follow the link for online submission below.  Presenters can submit a maximum of three abstracts but can be the presenting author of only one. All abstracts must be submitted in English only. Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract. All abstracts will be forwarded to the Conference Scientific Committee for review. Please contact the Organizing Secretariat [email protected] if you need any further information regarding the Conference. The accepted abstract from registered presenting authors will be published in the section Book of Abstracts.

Abstract acceptance criteria

Abstract will be accepted and scored according to the following quality criteria:

  • Clarity of the title
  • Concision, coherence and clarity of content (summary of purpose, methodology, results, conclusions, next steps/practical application, etc.)
  • Originality
Author guidelines 

When submitting your abstract, please follow the guidelines given below:

  • Submitter’s contact details (Full first and family name(s), email, phone number, country)
  • Presenting author’s and co-Authors’ details (Full first and family name(s), affiliations)
  • Affiliation details: Institution/Company/University/Hospital/Department, City, Country
  • Abstract type: poster or oral presentation
  • Abstract title: please add the title in the abstract form
  • Abstract topic: please choose a topic which main relate to your abstract
  • Abstract text: please fill the abstract form and keep in mind that the abstract should not exceed 600 words with spaces excluding Tables and Figures
  • Keywords: please include up to 5 keywords which relate to your abstract
Confirmation of receipt & notification of decision

You will receive email confirmation that your abstract has been received, indicating the allocated abstract number. Please refer to this abstract number in all further correspondence regarding the abstract. Please, contact [email protected]  if you submit an abstract and do not receive confirmation that it has been received. Only the submitter will receive all information concerning the abstract and will be responsible for informing the other Authors of the status of the abstract. After the review by the Scientific Committee, authors will be notified about results by October 15th, 2021.  The registration is required in order to be included in the program and to have the abstract published in the online “Book of Abstracts” of the 1st international Conference on Rare Disease and Paediatric Research.

Authors of abstracts selected for Oral Presentation will be invited to prepare a full article.

Copyright & Legal Obligation

All information in the abstract submission, including authors’ names, affiliations, and the content of abstract, will be used in the Conference publications and published on 1st international Rare & Paediatric Diseases Conference website.  The contributor carries legal obligations of the abstract; any violation to a third party’s rights will be the responsibility of the contributor him/herself.
